Apples are full of antioxidants, flavanoids and fibre. Antioxidants are needed for a healthy immune system, flavanoids help the immune system to fight off viruses, disease and allergies. Fibre helps keep you full and is essential for a healthy digestive system, and overall health.

Sunflower seeds also help the immune system, are good for cardiovascular health, contain magnesium for a healthy immune and nervous system. Best of all, sunflower seeds help keep you happy.

As for raisins…try to find a supplier who does not add sulphites, as this is toxic to the body. You can easily find dried fruit without this toxin by buying from health shops, or Dischem outlets. Raisins are rich in B vitamins, iron and potassium.

Altogether, these 3 ingredients make for a powerful body boost.
